As with all gemstones, care must be taken. Rose quartz can be brittle so care must be taken when setting. It is not advised to place rose quartz stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Rose quartz can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.
It is advised to avoid exposing rose quartz to prolonged periods of heat and light.
