Thank you for taking the time to get to know me..

My name is Ellie, I am a former Veterinary Nurse of 15 years and now a stay at home mum, where I work as a company secretary for our family building business as well as where I run my own jewellery business.

I studied at Berkshire Agricultural College and primarily learnt veterinary nursing at a practice in Lincolnshire until I made the move to become a Head Nurse at a practice in Boston which I loved, after this I decided to work as a locum nurse, I loved travelling around and met lots of interesting and lovely people.

I also did some training to be an Animal Care Tutor at Grimsby University but only stayed two terms as I didn't feel this was right for me at the time, so went back to locum nursing.

During this time I met my partner and we moved in together and started a family.

I took on my new roll as company secretary for our family business.

Juggling nursing, secretary work, running a house and being pregnant was all to0 much so I finally said goodbye to nursing and started my own cleaning business which was more manageable until baby number two came along, I dedicated myself to being a mum and focused on our family business.

During this time I kept going to the gym, owned my own horse and eventually started drawing again.

As our babies grew into little people with ideas and being around horses they naturally wanted to ride too, so we became a horse riding, muddy boots family.

My passion for horses has been from a young age, from riding my friends young Arab-x without a clue how to ride to owning and training my own horse and learning how to ride properly.

 I have also always drawn and painted, and studied Art at school but I would really say I am a self taught artist.

I have always enjoyed creating and as I got older started having a big love of jewellery.

Putting these three things together seemed a no brainer.... horses, art and jewellery!

 It all began after I attending a jewellery making studio day... and that was it, I was hooked, so I started buying basic jewellery tools and read lots of books and watched lots of U-tube videos, at first I made pieces for myself, but then friends and family asked, so I decided to make more and sell my jewellery to the public, starting at small markets and then I created my own website.

Inspired by my love of horses, making stirrups, horseshoes and snaffles was my first call. Then my  jewellery collection started growing, and now, having a much wider choice of charms, personalised pieces, celebration, memories and life's significant moment pieces,  my little independent business has grown into a full time job, making jewellery most days and selling online or from my little pop up shop at markets and horse trail events.

I use only sustainable, recycled solid sterling silver and recycled solid 9ct gold for my handmade pieces,

as well as natural semi-precious/precious gemstones, beads, natural cultured pearls and high quality Cubic Zirconia stones. All my luxury packaging is sustainable and recyclable.
